    Training Miniature Cattle

Miniature Cattle are fast becoming a larger craze then miniature horses, pot bellied pigs or Alpaca. Thousands of American women are moving to small acreages and learning the joys of these small cattle. Often times these Miniature Cattle are purchased from large breeders that don't have the time to spend with them. Miniature calves are purchased un-halter trained, or skittish. Some times the breeder only wants to produce size, or numbers and temperament is not taken into consideration. This leaves the new owner with little knowledge of training miniature cattle, wanting to do more with their miniature cows.

Don't worry. Im here to help you. After halter training there is lots of fun things you can do with your miniature cattle. They can pull a buggy, learn tricks, or just be more fun to be around because they are well behaved and have good manners.

Some Miniature cattle breeds like the Dexter have been around a long time. Most have good temperaments to start with. Dexters are ridden by children, pull carts and even perform tricks in rodeos.

What ever miniature cattle breed you have chosen don't limit your dreams. There is a world of fun waiting for you.
