Freedom Aki
Texas Longhorn Riding Steer

Freedom has appeared on
Discovery Channel when he was just 2yr. He was ridden in the Freedom Ride of
2006 to educate people about NAIS and he has been the favorite mount of One
Sky Ranch for years. He is a faster steer with allot of endurance and not for
the faint of heart. He walks fast, trots fast and can really keep the pace. He
is push button with little needed to provoke a turn, or stop. Advanced riders
will love this steer.

Able
Yearling Texas Longhorn riding steer in
training

Able is coming 1yr and
has limited training. He was halter broke as a weanling and then turned out to
pasture. He needs confidence, and training, but is what I call an average calf
and will allow any student wanting to learn about calf hood behavior a full
and gratifying experience. Able belongs to Caleb, a dear friend and is offered
for sale by him. Able will remain at One Sky Ranch until sold.
Wado
Texas Longhorn buggy cow in training

Wado is smaller and
was shown in halter as a calf, but due to health reasons she had to be turned out, never touched
again until sold to One Sky Ranch as a 2yr. Wado is friendly, and will start
her buggy training with students this spring when the school opens. She will
need to be re-halter trained as well. Wado is a nice SAFE cow to learn many
things with.
Walayla
Texas Longhorn heifer, in training

Walayla has got to be
the sweetest heifer on planet earth. She will eat the pockets right out of
your jacket. If you need to build confidence with a smaller animal that will
forgive you no matter what, Walayla is what your looking for. Because she is a
baby, born in April 2007, she needs allot of training and guidance. She will
give you what you need to go on with ground manors, and basic training of your
own cattle. Giving you confidence with her quick learning and willingness to
please.
We have other steers
that are privately owned that are available to be placed with the right
students for them, and for the student. When you fill out your request form
you will then be matched with the right animal for you.
