About the cattle you will meet

Our cattle are hand picked for temperament. The few cows I keep on the property are in a special breeding program that focuses on temperament, soundness and the over all ability to produce the very best in riding and performance cattle. Every animal is at a different stage in their training. This allows for every student to get a variety of hands on experience. We have smaller, younger animals that are very calm and have started some training for those that wish to get some basics and build confidence to move on. We have untouched calves for those who wish to learn halter breaking techniques. Always we have the very experienced well broke cattle for those that simply wish to learn to ride, or enjoy a day on the trail.

I do except applications for steers, as well as people to join our school. Many people are wanting their steers professionally trained but don't have the time, or knowledge, or both. They want their steers to come and join the school. This is a win win situation where we can hand pick steers from a large selection of steers for each student. This allows each student to fill out our form, and be perfectly matched with an animal that will give them the best learning experience possible. If you would like your steer placed on our list please contact me directly as a phone call and extensive analysis of each animal is necessary to decide if that animal is safe, and workable for our program, also to determined what student that animal would work best with and what months, or weeks that animal would need to be present on the ranch.

Our full time residents are changing at the moment as I have bought some new cattle to add to our permanent program. I will add these when they are safely in our pastures. I will add photos and complete descriptions of all our cattle when I get everyone home safely.
